S2S Prep / Grade 1 & 2
Our School to Summit program begins with our Buddy Program. During Prep Transition your child joins a ‘Buddy Group’. These groups help Prep students in their transition to school and continue until Grade 2.
Big Buddies help the younger students settle into school, find friends to play with and with school work.
During Term 1 the whole school sets off on a Buddy Day adventure where each grade and their buddies explore different regions of our community.
They also go out on hikes in their own year level;
Prep Hike from Carters Road to Mirimbah.
Grade 1 Hike from Carters Road to Mirimbah and back.
Grade 2 Hike from Carters Road to The Falls.
