White Ribbon Day
16/10/2017
On Friday 13th of October was White Ribbon Day. White Ribbon Day is about protecting children from violence. The teachers raised awareness by writing on their hands saying who they were protecting. The welfare team handed out white ribbons to each class everyone got a ribbon with their name on it and they were tied to the front fence on Apollo Street. At first, I was really not familiar with that the celebration was all about. But when I knew that it was a strong campaign against child violence, then I was inspired to support White Ribbon Day. Well, all of us should do the same thing because up to these days, there are still children who suffer from domestic violence. There was a documentary on Netflix that I have watched last month; it was about a kid named "Gabriel Fernandez". My heart bleeds for the kid. That's why all of us should be part of the movement. 10/3/2021 05:34:25 pm
